Nic Teeman and Brendan Mulcahy, who both work for Tower Hamlets Council, are undertaking the gruelling Everest Transverse Trek in April 2011.

Nic and Brendan have paid for the trip out of their own finances so all money raised will go directly to help us provided essential support services to local young people. They have set themselves a target of raising £3,000 and have already raised over half that amount. We will be doing all we can here to cheer them along and help them reach their target!

Some of the young people at Step Forward have made a banner for Nic and Brendan to take to Everest, which you can see on the Just Giving page

It is an extremely challenging and difficult Trek, with a minimum of 7 hours walking for at least 17 days. We are hoping to follow the trek and update their progress along the route. So keep an eye out for any news on our web site www.stepforward-web.org or via our twitter feed
