As a Step Forward supporter you have the opportunity to take part in a record breaking event, raise money for charity – including Step Forward – and have the chance to win £10,000 for yourself!
Step Forward has signed up to be one of the charities involved in The 3rd Great British Duck Race on Sunday the 6th September 2009.
The event aims to launch a record breaking 175,000 plastic ducks in a race along the Thames while raising awareness and money for charity.
Anyone can adopt a duck to take part in the race. The prices start from just £2 which include your very own adopted duck taking part in the race and a contribution to the NSPCC. Everyone adopting a duck for the race is encouraged to make a further donation to a charity of their choice (Step Forward!)
The suggested amount per duck would be around £5 which would include the extra £3 donation straight to Step Forward (make sure Step Forward are selected as your chosen charity when you complete the form).
If your duck is first over the line, you will personally win the £10,000 top prize – so the more ducks you adopt, the better chance you have!
